Full Description

Mapped as a point on Quarr Lane, there were at least two quarries with sheds north of this lane. [ST 63711778] (3) Many years ago a burial was uncovered north of Quarr Lane near a shed. It was reburied nearby. Rumour says it dates to The Civil War and that there was a lead 'bullet' in the skull. (1, 3) Mr. C.E. BEAN could offer no further information; the site is grass covered. (4)
