Summary

Parish Church originally built in the thirteenth century, chancel and west tower added in fifteenth century. Nave was rebuilt in sixteenth century, major restoration 1896-1907.

Full Description

The Parish Church of St Martin, of Portland rubble and slated roofs, is of 13th century origin, re-built in the 15th century and again in the 19th century. <2> The simple Norman font is square with 5 flat blank arches to each side. <3>
