Summary

A Durotrigian-style crouched burial was disturbed and slightly damaged during digging by machine in 1967, and excavated by the Broadmayne Primary School. The burial was orientated east-west, with the head to the east and facing south, and appeared to be the skeleton of a mature adult. Six pots of late Iron Age date were deposited in the grave.
