Fragments of a field system of prehistoric or medieval origin are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs on the western end of Tenants Hill {1-2}. The banked field boundaries run along the contour and may be the remains of strip lynchets; they were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
