Full Description

A banked field system is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs on the north facing slopes to the south and east of Lower Kingston Russell Farm {1-2}. The fields are associated with cultivation marks and are likely to be of medieval or post medieval date although a earlier origin for some field banks is possible. The site was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
