Full Description

The possible ste of a small bowl barrow is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs on Pitcombe Down {1}. The central mound is 11m across with traces of an outer ditch and bank. It forms part of a wider scheduled barrow cemetery. The site was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
