Post medieval quarries are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs on Abbotsbury Plains {1}. They are presumably associated with Bishop's Limekiln which is marked on the OS 1st Edition map immediately to the south. The features were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
