Full Description
A mound 60 paces in diameter and 12ft high, probably natural. <2>
Perhaps natural. <3>
A large, near circular, grass covered mound. 56.0m diameter, 3.5m high. This feature is a natural mound, probably gravel outcrop. Such mounds are common in this locality. No traces of a ditch and the slopes of the mound flow into the surrounding ground too evenly to be considered a barrow of such dimensions. <4>

A large mound, probably a natural feature although marked as a barrow on the OS 1st Edition Map. The site was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project <6-7>.
