Full Description

Medieval or post medieval cultivation marks are visible as low parallel earthworks to the north of Ringstead {1}. The features were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project. A block of medieval or post medieval cultivation marks is visible immediately adjacent to the east of that described above in (1) and probably formed part of the same system. The ridges are on the same alignment; approximately north-south. (2) These features were digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
