Full Description
(Centred SY 405921). Four mounds on Golden Cap, probably the remains of bowl barrows, in a group at the SW 3nd of the hill-top. <1>
Bowl barrows on Golden Cap are as follows: SY 40569209 (C). 13 paces dia by 2 1/2ft high. <2>
One of five Bronze Age round barrows on Golden Cap. The barrow is visible as an extant feature on lidar taken in 2008 <4>. The site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
