Full Description
A group of circular hollows are visible as earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs {1-5}. They could be the sites of post medieval chalk pits, however the probability that they could also be natural shake holes cannot be ruled out either. They were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
