A 'Quarry' and 'Old Quarries' are marked on the OS 1st edition map to the west of Chalbury Camp. The extensive area of post medieval quarrying is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and LiDAR imagery {1-2}. The features were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
