Summary

Bowl barrow, 60ft. in diam and 2.5ft. high. Visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs. The site was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.

Full Description

Grinsell recorded this barrow as 20 paces in diameter and 2 feet in height. In 1934 this was on arable. <2> SY 66928645 Bowl barrow in arable, ploughed down. Diameter approximately 28.0m, height 0.4m. No visible ditch. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on MSD. <5> Visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs <7>. The site was digitally plotted during the SouthDorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
