A group of linear ditches are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs {1-2}. The features appear to respect the modern field pattern and are considered likely to be drainage ditches or field boundaries of post medieval or later date. Alternatively they could also be the remains of trackways. They were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
