A rectilinear enclosure and associated features including a quay and boat house are visible on aerial photographs (1-2). The boat house is marked on the OS 1st edition map, the other features are considered to be of WWII military origin, possibly associated with the bombing decoy to the south-east (MDO25754). The features were plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
