A group of linear banks are visible as earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs {1-2}. The features appear to respect the modern field pattern and are considered likely to be the remains of former trackways or field boundaries of probable medieval or later date. They were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
