Full Description
The site of a WWII bombing decoy is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1942 and 1946 on Chesil Beach near Henbury {1-2}. The features associated with this decoy site including bunkers, buildings and a linear feature (presumably the line of a cable) running the length of the site, were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
