A 380m length of bank is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs {1}. The line of the bank appears to continue on the south side of the B3157, where it is preserved in extant field boundaries. It is considered likely to be the remains of a field hedge or boundary bank of medieval or later date. It was digitally plotted for the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping project.
