Summary
A series of parallel bank and ditched features are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs on the south side of Linton Hill. The features appear to be medieval strip lynchets although a natural geological origin is probable.

A series of parallel bank and ditched features are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs on the south side of Linton Hill. The features appear to be medieval strip lynchets although a natural geological origin is probable {1-2}. The parallel features were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
