Summary
One of a group of four bowl barrows on East Hill. In 1952 this monument was reported as being around 27 feet in diameter with a mound about two feet high. The barrow is visible as a low mound around 11m in diameter on a 1995 aerial photograph and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.

Full Description
One of a group of four bowl barrows on East Hill. In 1952 this monument was reported as being around 27 feet in diameter with a mound about two feet high. The barrow is visible as a low mound around 11m in diameter on a 1995 aerial photograph and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project <5>. The feature is still faintly visible as an earthwork on current Google Earth imagery.

A group of three bowl barrows, situated on the flat top of a south eastern spur. All are much reduced by ploughing, with no evidence of ditches. 'a' ST 6222 0242. A grass-covered bowl barrow 11.0m in diameter and 0.5m high. … Revised at 1:2500. <4>
