Summary
Traces of former open fields can be seen in the form of slight earthworks of ridge and furrow. Aerial photographs show straight and curving furlongs. Nothing is known of the date of enclosure of the open fields of the parish.

Full Description
‘(20) Cultivation Remains. Nothing is known of the date of enclosure of the open fields of the parish. A few traces of ridge-and-furrow are visible on air photographs (R.A.F. CPE/UK 1974: 2155-7) around the village in straight and curving furlongs; they are unrelated to the present field boundaries’. (1)
