Full Description
Water powered corn and flax mill built in the early 19th century. The large mill building of rubble stone with a slate roof has been converted to private house. The building is of 3 bays and 3 storey, and has fairly wide windows of 3 lights with segmental heads and a central loading door. The lower mill-house is attached to the east, possibly pre-dating mill. End walls with stone coping. Small stone bell-cote at west gable end suggests possible former use as flax mill. Watercourses extant. <2>
