Summary
A detached public house built in the 18th century with a 19th-century extension, making an L-shaped plan. The building has walls of dressed stone and stone rubble, and a thatched roof with brick chimney stacks. There is an entry-passage to the main range. An attached wall of coursed stone rubble is also of 18th-century date.
