Attached former Vicarage, now private house. Dated 1640 R.T. V (for Ralph Taylor, Vicar) on panel over west doorway. Restored in 1778.

Full Description
The Vicarage, Sydling St. Nicholas is a two-storeyed structure of coursed flint and ashlar, dated to 1640. The building was restored in 1778 and considerably altered in the C19th. <2>
As described. The name on the main gate is "The Vicarage" but the house is generally known as The Old Vicarage and is no longer used as a vicarage. <3>
