Summary
Early seventeenth century public house, extended in the late seventeenth early eighteenth century, refaced in the mid nineteenth century. Brick with faience front, three front gable brick stacks, outer ones blank, and a tiled roof. Poole had an important ceramic industry in the nineteenth century, and a number of public houses have decorative glazed fronts, of which this is the finest.
