Summary
Large mid and late eighteenth century house in grounds, brick walls in Flemish bond with burnt headers and a hipped slate roof. William and Dorothy Wordsworth lived here from 1795 to 1797.

Full Description
Racedown is a three storeyed house of brick with ashlar dressings. The original house was built by John Pretor Pinney circa 1785 and the wings were added later. The porch is modern. <2>)
