Summary

Site of a manor house of the Knight's Hospitallers. The present house, built in around 1600, probably stands on the site. The Hospitaller's chapel is documented as being demolished in the 19th century.

Full Description

The Knights Hospitallers had an ancient manor house at Fryer Mayne. In the early 19th century, Mr Cockerham the owner, removed the ruins of the chapel. <1>
