Old quarry marked on Ordnance Survey 25-inch map epoch 1 (1885-8). It lay adjacent to an old limekiln.(1) The quarry is marked andt labelled on theOrdnance Survey 25-inch map epoch 2 (1900-1), but appears disused.(2) It is not marked on the Ordnance Survey 25-inch map epoch 3 (1928).(3)
