Summary
A scatter of Roman pottery of early second-century date was reported in 1950. It was said to have been found in a field north of Mount Hunger Cottages. This may be the same field where Roman gaming counters made of stone were found.

Full Description
(ST 60571893) (1) "Scatter of Roman pottery, including Samian form 33, early 2nd century, in field north of Mount Hunger Cottages. (ST 605189). My attention was drawn to this site by Mr J Fowler". <1-2>
The site was under high crops and was not investigated. <3>
This may be the arable field at Trent in which were found some Roman stone gaming counters and other remains of the same period. <5>
