Summary

A lime kiln was built on Fisherman's Hard adjacent to Poole Pottery. It burnt down and the remains were incorporated into an extension of Poole Pottery.

Full Description

A large rectangular lime kiln was erected on Fisherman's Hard, adjacent to the Poole Pottery works by Jesse Carter. This lime kiln was destroyed by fire in 1876 and the remains of the structure were incorporated into an extension of the pottery. (1)
