Full Description

A curvilinear Late Iron Age gully was recorded during excavations by Wessex Archaeology on the former James Brothers site, Blandford Road, Hamworthy in 2008-9 and may represent the remains of a former ring gully, perhaps representing a round house. A single posthole was also noted in this area, but no other structural remains were identified. The curvilinear gully was cut by some Late Iron Age and Roman ditches.
