The remains of a brick-lined well or soakaway were found at the King's Head, High Street, Poole during a watching brief by Poole Museum Service in 1994. This was about 1.3 m in diameter. No dating evidence was recovered but the brickwork suggests it was post-medieval or modern in date. (1)
