Full Description
The Great Quay at Poole was built some time in the late medieval period, possibly in the fifteenth or early sixteenth century. In 1558, the quay was 240 feet (c 73 m) long and 48 feet (c 14.6 m) wide at its head. (1)
The quay is depicted on the 1634, 1751 and 1774 maps. (2) (3) (4)
