Summary

A early modern seafront wall is visible on aerial photographs of the 1940s. It appears to be a decorative, curving section of wall and is located at the exit of a path onto the seafront. It does not appear on the 1st or 2nd edition Ordnance Survey maps and is no longer visible on current aerial photographs.

Full Description

A early modern seafront wall is visible on aerial photographs of the 1940s. It appears to be a decorative, curving section of wall and is located at the exit of a path onto the seafront. (1) It does not appear on the 1st or 2nd edition Ordnance Survey maps and is no longer visible on current aerial photographs. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
