Full Description
A possible Second World War military building is visible on aerial photographs of the 1940s to the north of Boscombe Promenade. The building is approximately 2 m square and of unclear function. (1) The remains of a group of buildings and possible military earthworks are located to the east of the site (see MDO8628 and MDO8629) and may be associated with it. The building is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
