Two trackways of possible post medieval date are visible as cropmark on aerial photographs of the 1940s between Martello Road South and Western Road. The trackways are visible as linear ditches flanked by banks. One trackway extends from east to west for a distance of approximately 24 m and the other extends to the south for a distance of 13 m. (1) The most recent comprehensive imagery available to the project shows that the area has been built over. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
