Full Description
Small flat ovoid object grooved on one side, of uncertain date and significance, found on the south beach of Hengistbury Head about 400 metres east of the Double Dykes. It is composed of a calcareous matrix contining occasional flint fragments and glauconitic grains, possibly cement, with traces of brown resin on the grooved side. (1)
This is probably of no archaeological significance.
