Two lines of Second World War anti-tank cubes are visible as structures on aerial photographs of 1941, leading to the east and west, crossing Banks Road, at the northern end of Sandbanks peninsula. The cubes extend to the west of the road for a distance of 16 m and to the east for a distance of 20 m. (1) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
