Full Description

A Second World War bomb crater is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1946 95 m to the south west of Gravel Point. The crater is visible as a sub-circular depression, measuring 12 m in diameter. (1) The crater is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
