Two post medieval drains, which are probably associated with a system of drainage in the same area (see MDO28774), are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of 1947 adjacent to the western bank of the River Stour.

Two post medieval drains, which are probably associated with a system of drainage in the same area (see MDO28774), are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of 1947 adjacent to the western bank of the River Stour. They are oriented north-west-south east and measure up to 80 m in length. They are on the same alignment as the drainage system immediately to the north and are probably associated with it. (1) The drains are not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
