Full Description

A possible late post medieval field boundary is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1946 to the north of Bridge Street. The boundary is visible as a narrow bank extending from east to west for a distance of 90 m and then turns to the south east for a distance of 55 m. (1) The boundary fits within the post medieval field system as marked on the 1st ed OS map. (2) The site is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (3) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
