A line of 19th to mid-20th century beach huts is visible as a structure on aerial photographs of 1946 along the beach front to the east of Avon Run Road, to the east of the location of modern beach huts. The line of huts measures approximately 26 m in length. (1) This area is open ground on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
