Summary

Second World War anti-tank cubes are visible as structures on aerial photographs of 1945 to the north west of Warren Hill. They may have been associated with the defences around the Chain Home radar site (see MDO28870) or RAF Southbourne (see MWX1164) and are adjacent to the south of a line of anti-glider defences (see MDO28888).

Full Description

Second World War anti-tank cubes are visible as structures on aerial photographs of 1945 to the north west of Warren Hill. They may have been associated with the defences around the Chain Home radar site (see MDO28870) or RAF Southbourne (see MWX1164) and are adjacent to the south of a line of anti-glider defences (see MDO28888). The site consists of east-west aligned line of four cubes . (1) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
