These features are located within an area of recorded settlement remains spanning a period between the Late Neolithic and the post medieval (MWX674) and may be the remains of trackways and field boundaries associated with at least one of these occupation phases. They were digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). These features are not visible on the most recent comprehensive imagery available to the project (4), most having since been plough-levelled or destroyed by the construction of an oil gathering station at Wytch Farm Oil Field in the 1980's.
