A group of linear ditches are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the west of Wytch Farm (1). They are considered likely to be the remains of a drainage system of post medieval date. They were digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). These features are still partially visible as cropmarks on the most recent comprehensive imagery available to the project (2).
