Summary

A group of parallel linear ditches are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of Wytch Farm. They are considered likely to be the remains of cultivation marks of probable post medieval date. These features have since been destroyed by the construction of Wytch Farm Oil Station in the 1980's.

A group of parallel linear ditches are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of Wytch Farm (1). They are considered likely to be the remains of cultivation marks of probable post medieval date. These features were digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). They are not visible on the most recent comprehensive imagery available to the project (2), having since been destroyed by the construction of Wytch Farm Oil Station in the 1980's.
