A group of three curvilinear banks are visible as dispersed earthworks on aerial photographs of Long Island taken in 1947 (1). They are considered likely to be the remains of field boundaries of probable historic date. These features were digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). They are not visible on the most recent comprehensive imagery available to the project (2), the area now being obscured by scrub.
