An area of medieval or post medieval ridge and furrow is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs of the 1940s to the east of Ferry Road, Studland. The ridges are oriented east-west and are visible over an area measuring approximately 75 m by 45 m. (1) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
