A group of possible Second World War military buildings or early modern beach huts are visible as structures on aerial photographs of 1951 on the coastline to the north of Redend Point. The buildings are visible in four areas: a line of twelve, a line of four, a group of two and a single building. (1) The buildings are not shown on the modern map or the most recent aerial photography available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
