Four post medieval quarries are visible as earthworks on recent lidar imagery to the south of South Barn, Langton Matravers. The quarries are located on limestone and range in size, measuring between 23 m by 18 m and 52 m by 24 m. (1) This site was digitally plotted during the South west Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
